How can I get my earring- studs out after six weeks?

I cannot get those earring-studs out after the first 6 weeks to change them. HELP please!

Mix a little salt in water, take a q-tip, dampen it with the salt solution and moisturize the ear until you can twirl the earring in the hole. You should be able to remove it after that. You may want to do this for a couple of days before removing. The solution will help it to be less crusty and heal.
